Let's get you on the road
Whether you are new to driving electric, or want to learn more about how to implement charging infrastructure for your staff and fleet. We are here to help.
Here are some common questions we get asked.
On average, a commercial charger can cost around £2,500 to have fitted, but there are many things to consider.
A simple wall mounted charger can cost a lot less than this. However, if your car park is away from your building and the chargers need to be floor standing, you can expect the costs to be a lot more.
We provide a free site survey and design service, which will allow us to provide an accurate price for your installation.
All of the chargers we fit comes with a free management system which allows you to set control around who can (or can't) use your charge points.
So if your charger is accessible to anyone, we will help you to set the right controls so that only you, your staff or your fleet vehicles can use them.
Yes you can. Our free software allows you to apply charging tariffs for different driver groups.
For example, you may wish to set a charging tariff for visitors and another tariff for your staff. You may also want your fleet vehicles to charge for free.
All of this can be done in the free management portal we provide you with.
Yes you can. Your free management portal will capture, measure and report your carbon emission savings.
We monitor all of the charging points that we fit, so can identify when a charger isn't working properly.
We will contact you in the first instance so you can confirm what lights are displayed on the charge point. We may ask you to conduct a hard reset of the charger to see if that brings the charger back online.
If we identify the charger is faulty, we will replace the charger under warranty within 48 hours, at no cost to you.
All chargers come with a 3 year "onsite" warranty.
"Onsite" means there is no cost to you for replacing the charger.
Our installation is covered by a 12 month warranty - but if we are honest about this - any issue with the installation would show up in the first few days.
If you were to find an issue with our installation, we would get this put right immediately at no cost to you.
- There are a number of reasons why Mango EV are the charge point installer of choice:
- we do not lock you into costly or binding contracts
- our free software package allows you to manage your chargers
- 3 years onsite warranty means you don't get charged for replacing the unit should it go faulty
- we offer a best price guarantee for the supply and installation.
These are what make Mango EV stand out in a market that is difficult to understand who is best to work with.
To explain:
There are some good EV charging companies out there, but the growth in this market has attracted a lot of interest from businesses looking to make a quick buck!
Reasons to be careful.
General electricians can fit you a charger, but commonly, it will be a charger that their wholesaler sells to them, and this might not always be suitable for your business needs.
Most electrician's don't understand how the software works and you might end up paying ongoing monthly fees that you don't need to.
On the flip side, some of the big names (owned by energy companies or the big oil and gas companies) are not being straight up about their products. They are often supplied with locked in software that you'll never get away from and this can cost your thousands to replace in the future.
